jive

The Jive has a 110 cc four stroke heart that produces 8.4bhp at 7500rpm with a torque value of 8.3Nm at 5500rpm. TVS Jive comes with a T-matic clutch that lets the rider change gears without having to use the clutch manually this also means there will be no clutch lever present.

The gearbox is sourced from its Indonesian plant whereas the engine is made at their home plant in Hosur. The Jive at a mere 110 kg weight can maneuver traffic effortlessly with an added advantage of the new automatic clutch. The Jive is also equipped with anti stall mechanism that makes riding smooth even in the lower gears without the engine shutting off which is again impossible with the motorcycles that are equipped with a manual clutch. The bike is also equipped with an electric starter and the bike can be started irrespective of whatever gear it is parked in. Jive is also the first motorcycle in India that comes with an under seat storage space that can fairly hold some necessities. TVS Jive is priced at Rs. 42,500 (ex-showroom Chennai).
